Illustration Friday: Speed

When I saw the topic for the week, my thoughts immediately turned to my sister's dog, Zack. That furball can run. Last year, we were chasing him around the parking lot of a train station and couldn't catch him; he was a blur. He also takes to running around the house sometimes. We'd be sitting around and he'll just go zipping and panting back and forth for who-knows-what.

I didn't do him justice in this illustration, sadly.

"Speed" illustrations I love:

  • Ginger Pixels
  • Apple-Pine
  • Spun With Tears
  • Sweet Pea

Very cute. I can relate. I have a small dog who is as quick and agile as anything. Great job with this!

Ur illo reminded me the crush I had on Bengi, the movie, because of that cute dog. I used to tell my older sister to draw him once and again till she got tired lol

Gosh what a cutie! I love dogs, all dogs, big, small and all in between. I wonder where this marvelous mutt is rushing to. Bacon? Chicken? His mom? Back to you?

I had to go and check out "ZACK". He looks like he has a lot on his mind. No wonder he is rushing around....he has to investigate everything. Good job!

That dog always looks so pensive, yes indeed. It's so odd how he tilts his head sometimes and stares at you as if he's trying to sort you out.

Thanks so much everyone. I'm glad you liked this--it means so much to a wannabe illustrator. ^_^
