This is me at nighttime when I go to bed during times when daybreak is still several hours away. I never can sleep right away, unless I'm really really really exhausted, because I'm always afraid to close my eyes--I feel like someone or something is staring at me everytime I try to do so. That's why I have to keep opening my eyes and taking a good look around for several minutes before finally drifting off.
This was actually posted in September, but I just bumped it up because I felt it was rather appropriate to the topic.
