January, February, March: Relatively uneventful, unless I just blocked out everything. Property dispute remains unsettled (to this day, actually).
April: The rear portion of our house and my entire room burn down. Falling out with our father.
May: My sister is diagnosed with a brain tumor, which is eventually found to be rare AND malignant, and undergoes surgery. Hardcore falling out with our father.
June: My brother-in-law's home in Aklan is washed away by typhoon Frank. His father is set to undergo seven weeks of radiation and chemotherapy again.
I've not yet mentioned all the tragedies around the world, but overall, the first half of the year has been fraught with disasters both personal and global. I won't say that things are going to get better, because bad things tend to creep up on everyone when they're least expected (so do good things, happily). So the most I'll be hoping for is that we all come out of these situations a lot stronger, and with a better understanding of what is really, truly important in life and what are mere irritations that are puny compared to the bigger picture.
