I haven't seen the damage for myself yet, but I will in a couple of days. From what I've heard, most of my room was brought down by the fire, so that's goodbye to a lot of things. It made me realize that I only really value a few things in life: my toys, my computer, my books, my DVDs, and photo albums. Everything else is just fluff, FLUFF I SAY!
I can't seem to be putting across my sorrow very well through these fire-related posts. I'm just really happy that the people at home are safe, that the entire house wasn't burned down, and that we weren't there. Okay, I'm going to be drama queenly about this. The roof caved in on my room, and had I been there--well, who knows? At the very worst, I could've been sitting on the toilet when the roof collapsed, and I'd've met a fiery end right then and there. And people will uncover my remains and see a charred figure sitting on the fucking toilet. What a way to die.
