I went to a career orientation thing of a financial company this morning. I almost didn't make it, since it started at 8:30 a.m. and I woke up at...8:15 a.m. I'd already taken a shower at 2 a.m. in anticipation of my tardiness, so that was a good idea. Even better was that traffic all the way to Makati was quite manageable, save for a snarl along Cubao. I got there after 9 a.m. and the discussion was well underway. Notepapers and pencils were provided, so I had a nice time doodling and jotting down whatever came to mind. I also noticed that everyone was dressed quite nicely, leaving me looking frumpy as ever.
Anyway, it looks like a fairly interesting field to be in, though I'm sure it takes a lot of nerve and know-how. Perhaps I should wait five more years to get into it.
