My sister just told me that there's a Weight Watchers article that claimed that Americans might be the cleanest people in the world due to the amount of baths they take, especially after workouts, with 28% of women taking two baths or showers a day. I don't know if the writer has ever been to other countries, but he or she should swing by the Philippines where everybody bathes at least twice a day everyday.
Another article, entitled "The Weight of the World" written by Liz Ozaist, claims that outsourcing is responsible for the rise of office jobs in developing countries, which then leads to sedentary lifestyles and obesity. I'd really like to find her and inform her that office jobs have been around way before outsourcing even exploded and not everyone has been working in fields before US companies discovered cost-cutting and sending work to developing nations.
