My dad don't see eye to eye on many things a lot of the time, but sometimes, he spews out words of wisdom out of nowhere.
Like ghosts, for example. For the past month, there's been some weird knocks around the house which my parents attribute to my dead grandmother. I don't hear these knocks myself, because I'm happily not attuned to such things, but I'm scared witless. First my mom was hearing them, now my dad too. What next, me? I'm gonna have to go sleep in their room for the next month or so, then, and when they migrate, I'm gonna have to deal with those knocks all by myself.
I told my parents this particular concern of mine, to which my dad responded, "If your grandma ever shows herself to you, don't be scared--ask her for lotto numbers!"
